Iran has agreed to establish a communication channel for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz to prevent conflicts and incidents. Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated the line is for resolving issues, not for obtaining passage permission. He also mentioned agreements with the US on unfreezing $12 billion in Iranian assets and a memorandum of understanding for cessation of hostilities.
