Court Grants Bail to Woman Accused of Murdering Husband During Honeymoon in Meghalaya
A local court in Shillong has granted bail to Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime accused in the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi during their honeymoon in Meghalaya last June. The court cited a violation of constitutional rights, noting she was not properly informed of the grounds of her arrest under Section 103(1) BNS. This was her fourth bail plea. The victim's family has expressed outrage and plans to challenge the order in the High Court, with Raja's mother demanding a CBI probe.
