The Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 unmanned aerial vehicles are being upgraded to adapt to the evolving challenges of the special military operation in Ukraine, according to a representative from the Special Technology Center (STC). The Special Technology Center (STC) has expanded its production capacity for the Orlan reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems and can now supply these drones to foreign countries, the STC spokesperson announced at the Defense Services Asia (DSA) exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. The decision to export would be made by Rosoboronexport, Russia's state arms exporter. Russia currently supplies Orlan UAVs to more than 20 countries.
The Special Technology Center is showcasing a virtual training program for Orlan UAV operators at the Defense Services Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, enabling training without consuming operational resources.
