Texas Instruments posted its best Wall Street day since 2000 after reporting Q1 revenue of $4.83 billion (up 19%) and EPS of $1.68, both beating estimates. The chipmaker gave upbeat Q2 guidance of $5-$5.4 billion in revenue. Data center segment revenue surged ~90% YoY as hyperscalers like Meta and Amazon build AI infrastructure. Shares closed at a record, up 63% YTD.
