DJI has sued Insta360 for patent infringement over its new Luna Ultra camera, alleging violations of design and utility patents. Insta360 has responded with its own lawsuits, claiming DJI's Osmo Pocket and Ronin products infringe on its gimbal and stabilization patents.
DJI's Osmo Pocket 4 is an evolutionary upgrade over the Pocket 3 featuring a new 1-inch sensor with 37MP stills, 4K video at 4x zoom, 240fps slow motion, 107GB internal storage, and improved battery life. However, it's the first Osmo Pocket not to launch in the US due to pending authorization. At $560, it's a meaningful upgrade for new buyers but offers little reason for Pocket 3 owners to upgrade.
A social media feud has erupted between Twitch streamer Marlon Lundgren Garcia (Marlon3lg) and boxing star Jake Paul after Marlon's livestream from the Celsius Football Tournament captured Paul’s fiancée Jutta Leerdam criticizing excessive vlogging during the event. Marlon responded by stating he’s also an Olympic gold medalist, prompting Jake Paul to defend his girlfriend on X, calling her a "real person that doesn't give a flying f**k about your stream." Marlon has since fired back, questioning Paul's relevance and accusing him of unnecessary ego-driven escalation.
