I think we all need a cup of tea and a good lie down after “this”.

FT: Storm best Eels 34-8 in shocking spectacle
S
By Simon Smale
That was not a great game.
Craig Bellamy does not look best pleased.
Those that have remained in the stands seem to have done so under some kind of duress, such was the low quality of that game.
And yet, the Storm will come away satisfied that the slow shoots of recovery are starting to poke their way out from the mire that the Melbourne side have found themselves in of late.
No, it wasn't pretty, but two competition points are in the bag with a six-try-to-two win.
Parramatta's Sean Russell got the opening score, just as he did in round one, but just as was the case in round one, the Storm ran away with things there after.
Moses Leo finished off the try of the weekend to draw the two sides level, before scores from Jack Howarth, Cameron Munster, Cooper Clarke, Harry Grant and Josh King condemned the Eels to another defeat.
Munster stepped up and played a fine hand in a number of the Storms scores, but nobody truly shined in a match with 31 errors across the park.
79' Melbourne earn a couple of penalties

The Eels have had enough.
The fans in the stands have been leaving in their droves throughout this woeful second half.
They give away back-to-back penalties and try to start a fight when putting King in a headlock.
It's just another minor scuffle.
But then the Storm drop the ball so it's the Eels who may well see this one out with the ball in hand.
77' JOSH KING SCORES!

POWER! STRENGTH! AND ANOTHER ERROR!
A solid kick is completely fluffed by Brian Kelly, who turned his back as he leaped for the ball.
The Storm mop up and the ball finds its way to King, who stands in front of the Eels line, looks up and decides to just wade through three players to score.
Woeful defending.
"What's the opposite word for magic?" former Rooster Luke Keary says on Fox.
This. This is the opposite word for magic, whatever this is.
The kick is good, 34-8.
74' Melbourne score a cracker to finish!

Amidst the shocking errors, there have been some moments of brilliance and that was one of them.
Sualauvi Faalogo raced through the line and embarked on a mazy, high-speed car chase of a run towards the Parramatta line.
He began to dance with the furiously backtracking Joash Papalii, with Josh Addo-Carr and Brian Kelly just getting back to haul him down.
It mattered little in the end though as Harry Grant picked up the ball and dived under the posts to seal a messy, forgettable victory in a Magic Round game that has lacked any of the quality we have come to expect.
The kick is good, it's 28-8.
A lot

Gobsmacked by the errors Simon - do you have an error count?
- KB
I have been told 26, my stat machine says 29.
Either way, it's far too many for a game of first grade played in the dry.
68' Moses and King get into each other's grill as the Fox drops the ball

By Simon Smale
Mitch Moses is a bit unhappy with Josh King fending him away in the tackle, so starts wrestling him while he's been held and yelling in his face.
That is not a fight that Moses is going to win, and King knows it, laughing in the irritable halfback's face as he continues to bark like an over-excited Shih Tzu.
Cam Munster comes over and pushes the pair away after putting a kick up - as over on the other side of the field Josh Addo-Carr drops the ball.
It doesn't make too much difference though, off the scrum, Josh King makes a mistake as this encyclopedia of errors has another couple of entries added to it.
65' Penalty Eels
S
By Simon Smale
A kick bomb goes up from the Storm, Ativalu Lisati jumping into Joash Papalii desperately early to stop the Eels fullback challenging for the ball.
62' Penalty Storm, but the Eels challenge
S
By Simon Smale
The Eels pull together a really good set.
There is a handful of knock ons there but the referee has spotted a penalty for a tackle in the air by Jordan Samrani on Nick Meaney.
It is quite clearly a tackle in the air too.
Well, I thought it was clearly a penalty, bunker official Chris Butler doesn't agree, to absolute disbelief in the press box.
Scrum for the Eels on the 10 - great opportunity.
I am glad it was you

Someone has to say it - What's the matta Parra?
- Mike
It's a valid question.
61' Try Eels!
S
By Simon Smale
Easy for the Eels.
A simple shift off the scrum to the left side, the ball finding its way into the hands of Joash Papalii, who burns past Trent Toelau to score in the corner.
The kick from Moses is missed.
It's 22-8 to the Storm.
59' Sualauvi Faalogo drops a bomb

It was a great kick from Mitch Moses, the Blues half kicking the belly of the ball, making it wiggle and wobble through the air like a plate of jelly on a city bus.
Still, add that to the error count.
56' The Storm have another!

Cameron Munster has another try assist!
He sends big Cooper Clarke through a big gap and he races over to score his second career NRL try aged just 19!
It all started up the other end though, Jahrome Hughes winning the ball in the air and then bursting out of the in-goal and past the Eels line up to the 40.
The Storm methodically move their way up field to set up the Munster magic moment.
The kick is good, the Storm lead 22-4.
54' BELLAMY HAS HAD ENOUGH!
S
By Simon Smale
Brilliant break from Sualauvi Faalogo!
He makes his way up field and is spun around - and as he looks to offload, he throws the ball forward.
That's another error and Craig Bellamy looks close to combustion - he spins away and races out the back of the coaching box in disgust.
I don't blame him,
53' Moses Leo limps off
S
By Simon Smale
Moses Leo appears to have hurt his knee.
He has been helped off the field in back play.
52' ADDO-CARR ON THE CHARGE!
S
By Simon Smale
Josh Addo-Carr winds back the clock, a superb run from the Foxx!
He gets his way up field and the Storm, in desperation, give away a six again set restart.
But oh no, Tarry De Silva has dropped it cold.
My word, that is appalling from the Eels.
49' COOPER CLARK ON THE RAMPAGE!
S
By Simon Smale
Cooper Clarke goes right up the middle and takes a handful of Eels with him!
That is a remarkable run, bush-footy-like up the guts, all pumping legs and furious expressions.
The Storm make their way into a kickable position inside the Eels half and put up a bomb, that they do recover, but despite some inventiveness from Harry Grant, they can't find a way through.
47' THE STORM SCORE!
S
By Simon Smale
The Storm have made the breakthrough!
And it's Cameron Munster!
The Eels gave away a penalty in the Storm defensive half and the Storm piggy back up field off that.
Hughes and Munster combine and Munster uses his strength to force his way over the line.
The kick is good and the Storm lead 16-4 - and given the lack of quality we've seen so far this game, you'd almost be confident in saying that may be enough...
These two are desperately in need of something...
