逮捕容疑は12日午前1時半ごろ、奈良市学園南2丁目の住宅に侵入し、住人の70代女性を押さえ込んで背中に3週間のけがを負わせ、ポーチ（300円相当）1個を奪ったというもの。現金の被害はなかった。
防犯カメラ映像をたどる「リレー捜査」によって、3人が関与した疑いが浮上したという。県警は、3人は知人関係で、何者かから指示があったとみて、詳しく捜査する。
女性は県警に対し、ごみ出しの準備のために玄関を出ると、少年らが目の前に立っていたと話しているという。
