The Orange Tsunami sets up Toby Greene
A
By Andrew McGarry
No, the Giants aren't going anywhere!
They get the ball back in the middle and suddenly the old reliable Giants fast ball movement kicks in, with handballs and players hitting the gap on the fly.
A long kick out the back to Toby Greene, sets up the GWS skipper for another goal.
The margin closes in again.
Liam Ryan you star!
A
By Andrew McGarry
Oh. My. Days. Liam Ryan!
He has been having a day out, and that might be his best!
He launched himself for a ball inside 50 as he was kind of shoved from behind.
He went on the ground, as the ball pinged around.
It came back to him, he grabbed it and rocketed to his feet, swung around and snapped over his shoulder for it to bounce through.
That could be a big one! Out to 13 points.
Saints answer through Cooper Sharman
A
By Andrew McGarry
A quick answer to St Kilda and it's Cooper Sharman with his third of the day. An important goal there.
The Giants get the early goal to Cadman
A
By Andrew McGarry
The first couple of minutes of the final term are a bit of an armwrestle, but the Giants finally get an opportunity, and a few handballs get clear to Aaron Cadman, who snaps one from 35m out.
The lead is back to eight points.

The Saints run out of time with one last attack as the siren sounds.
With a quarter to go, there are eight points in it, and that's a fair reflection of a high-energy, very tight game at Docklands.
That game could have been blown open or turned around, but a string of misses, including a handful of posters from both sides, mean that everything is in the balance.
You still think that Liam Ryan is likely to prove the difference, however Jake Stringer (three goals) and Clayton Oliver (31 disposals, seven clearances, six inside 50s) could still win it for GWS.
Don't go anywhere!
Now Liam Ryan hits the post for Saints
A
By Andrew McGarry
Is there a wood magnet in the ball!
That's two posters inside 90 seconds. The Saints went forward and it was Liam Ryan who should have been ironed on for a fifth goal of the day, but he hit the post.
Seven-point margin in time on.
Poster for Jake Stringer
A
By Andrew McGarry
St Kilda has been in control the last little while here, but the Giants moved the ball quickly to hit up Jake Stringer inside 50.
The big man's kick looked good, but it shifted late and hit the post!
The lead is back to a kick.
Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera kicks an absolute bomb for the Saints
A
By Andrew McGarry
The intensity is rising at Docklands!
The Saints are nailing some tackles. They didn't get any frees, and the fans were a little angsty about it, then Phoenix Gothard got monstered by Marcus Windhager, who jumped on top of him afterwards prompting a bit of to and fro between the sides.
Inistead of taking the kick, he handballed to Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, who ran and thumped a kick through from 50-plus.
He was celebrating before it went through, as the Docklands crowd went off their collective heads.
Huge goal for the Saints.
The lead is back to seven points halfway through the third quarter.
Giants get the reply
A
By Andrew McGarry
Well there you go!
If it's not going to be Liam Ryan (or Nas) kicking the goal, then it HAS to be Jake Stringer!
A beautiful Giants move at speed down the wing ends up with Stringer in the square, and he snaps his third. The Giants steady, and instead of the lead being out to three goals, it's back to three points.
This is a very entertaining game under the lid.
Two quick misses for the Saints
A
By Andrew McGarry
That might be a minute of play that the Saints regret later.
First Liam Ryan missed a snap at goal, then Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera chopped off a Giants move out of defensive 50.
He burst clear and ran in to kick the goal - but his kick trickled wide!
The lead is 10 points, but it could have been more.
Ryan gives St Kilda a 'flying' start
A
By Andrew McGarry
Good grief, the Saints have made a fast start - in 22 seconds!
They got the clearance, Darcy Wilson kicked a slow, swirly ball towards the post, but before it was intercepted or cannoned into the woodwork, up popped that man Liam Ryan to grab it and flykick it mid-air on the line for a brilliant opportunist goal.
The Saints lead by eight points, and it doesn't look like this one is going to slow down anytime soon.

Match report: Brisbane fire in third term to topple plucky Richmond
A
By Andrew McGarry
Reigning dual premiers Brisbane have overcome a first-half fright to outclass Richmond by 35 points in Hobart.
The Lions were ahead by just three at halftime before their stars turned on the jets with a seven-goal-to-three third quarter to set up the 17.13 (115) to 12.8 (80) win on Sunday.
It gives Chris Fagan's side back-to-back wins ahead of their bye and two blockbusters against Sydney and Geelong in the fortnight afterwards.
Will Ashcroft, who finished with a game-high 38 possessions, came to life early in the third term with two successive goals including a freak six-pointer dribbled in from the boundary line.
It was the 22-year-old's best disposal tally of the season to go with two majors and eight clearances.
Lachie Neale put his stamp on the game early in the third as Richmond failed to keep up after putting the defensive heat on Brisbane in the first half.
Logan Morris picked up three goals for the Lions, premiership forward Eric Hipwood booted two in his 200th game, on return from a knee injury suffered in round 23 last year, and defender Harris Andrews took nine marks in his 250th.
Youngster Jasper Alger was a stand-out for Richmond with four goals, while team mate Tim Taranto was busy with 29 disposals and two goals.
The Tigers (2-11) remain second-last while the Lions go to eight wins and six losses for the season.
Both teams went tit-for-tat in an engaging opening, with a fairly simple Bruce Reville goal close to the posts giving the Lions a thre-point lead at quarter-time, 4.4 to 4.1.
Richmond's Liam Fawcett had two goals for the term, while Brisbane's Zac Bailey had one for the highlight reel after walking the boundary line and finishing with a banana kick.
Taranto picked up 13 disposals, two clearances and one goal for the Tigers in a strong first quarter.
Richmond had the running early in the second term but missed multiple gettable shots, before Alger kicked his second to reduce the margin to two points.
Taranto put the Tigers ahead but Josh Dunkley kicked a crucial goal moments before halftime to put Brisbane back ahead 42-39.
From there, the Lions found their groove, kicking 11 of the 17 second half goals.

HT: St Kilda 8.4 (52) leads GWS 8.3 (51)
A
By Andrew McGarry
The siren sounds after another fierce quarter of footy at Docklands.
These two teams are pretty evenly matched - they've kicked four goals apiece in the first term, and four goals apiece in the second.
The Saints lead by a solitary point, after looking like they had things in control halfway through the quarter.
Liam Ryan has been the difference with three great goals, although Jake Stringer was involved in a goal-for-goal duel in the second term.
The Giants have the advantage through the middle, but they haven't quite made it count, although they started to in the final minutes of the half.
I reckon we're in for a cracking second half. Don't miss it.
Giants close in again with great goal to Cadman
A
By Andrew McGarry
These two teams have plenty of energy and plenty of oomph in their play this afternoon.
The Giants just refuse to let St Kilda kick clear, and now Aaron Cadman has nailed a kick for goal from a ridiculous angle in the pocket to make it an eighth goal of the day for GWS.
The lead is back to just three points! What a goal! What a quarter.
Giants reply with big goal to Phoenix Gothard
A
By Andrew McGarry
The pressure is on GWS right now, as the Saints look like they have lifted a gear here.
However the Giants are not going away.
They manage to get clear and find a kick to hit Phoenix Gothard in the right forward pocket.
The dynamic young forward goes back and curls the ball home from a difficult angle. That's a big goal in more ways than one.
The lead is back to nine points in time on.
Saints break the pattern with goal to Max Hall
A
By Andrew McGarry
With our eyes trained on Jake Stringer waiting for the answering goal, the Saints say no way and go forward.
Max Hall kicks the goal instead, and that breaks the pattern. The lead is out to 14 points, and the Saints are up and about here in the second quarter.
