Amitabh Bachchan Hospitalisation Rumours Debunked by Sources

On Tuesday night, a report said that Amitabh Bachchan is hospitalised, which left fans worried. As the news went viral, many wished the actor a healthy recovery. However, ETimes has exclusively learnt that this news is not true. Though, the actor visited Nanavati hospital on Saturday, it was a regular visit. Journalist Vickey Lalwani reported that Bachchan was admitted to the hospital from Saturday, May 16 onwards and he has been there since the last three days in the A wing, VIP enclosure due to stomach issues. Bachchan has been facing stomach issues since his 'Coolie' accident. The report also said that Abhishek Bachchan had visited him. But, here's the truth. A source told ETimes, "Mr Bachchan did visit Nanavati hospital on Saturday, however, it was a regular check-up which he goes for every month and he returned home after that." The source further said, "The news is absolutely false. He is absolutely fine and after his regular hospital visit on Saturday, he was back home and was also seen driving his car from Jalsa to Janak the next day. He is currently at home. " Another source close to the family said, "This news is absolutely fake." Meanwhile, in the wee hours of Tuesday, Bachchan also dropped a cryptic note on his blog amidst the hospitalisation rumours. He wrote, "चील जब होवे शांत तो भैया, तोते बोलन सुरु करें इर बीर फत्ते, कहन ,चल हमऊ, पिलावे सुरु करें !!!! बाजरे दी रोटी खा दी, फू पड़ियों दा, साग रे मुंह में डालन लागै जैसे , बोलन लागे काग रे !!!!! एक रहे ‘हिल’ भैया की पढ़ाई का दर्पण ; औ दूसर विलिंग्टन की याद !!" The English translation of this poem is, "When the eagle becomes quiet, parrots begin to speak. Meanwhile, the report of hospitalisation suggests that the actor has been admitted since the last three days and that cannot be true because he was seen fulfilling his ritual of meeting fans on Sunday outside his house. Bachchan had also dropped photos on his blog and expressed, "I go in from the house to meet the wellwishers .. staff security and police tell me its ready to come .. and as I walk apprehension .. will they be there . . will they greet me .. or booo .. ?? and then I hear the cheers , and the adrenaline activates and the body and limbs move in cohesion .. almost as an intrusion .. a loving intrusion .. and the joy of seeing so much joy in others .. the constants , the elderly the little kids who do not know what the heck is going on .. but cute they are ..
