“Unbelievable. So proud of everyone involved, the staff, the players, a wonderful group of men. Now we go to Dallas and we will try to do something special,” coach Tony Popovic said.
The Socceroos dominated the game but had only two shots on target.
“The one at the end was the first time I really looked at the clock and thought ‘please just blow the whistle.’ But overall we deserved it, we were very good today, wonderful performance,” Popovic added.
