Berlin Pride Attack Sparks Debate on Islamism and Queer Hostility

The terrorist attack on Berlin's Pride celebration, later attributed to an Islamist perpetrator, has heightened fears of further attacks and sparked debates on stricter laws and surveillance powers. Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) is under scrutiny for the government's response.
