BharatPe and YES Bank Launch BharatPe Flex Credit-on-UPI Service

BharatPe and YES Bank introduce BharatPe Flex, a new credit-on-UPI service.

This facility allows eligible users to make UPI payments even without immediate funds. Customers enjoy up to 45 days of interest-free credit. They can repay in full or opt for flexible EMIs from 3 to 12 months.

UPI users looking for greater flexibility in managing their daily payments now have a new option. BharatPe and YES Bank have launched BharatPe Flex, a credit-on-UPI facility that allows eligible customers to make payments through UPI even when they may not have sufficient funds in their bank account at that moment. While the interest-free credit facility provides up to 45 days of interest-free usage, users can spend daily and repay monthly either in full or via flexible 3–12 month equated monthly instalments (EMIs).

The product combines the convenience of UPI with access to a pre-approved credit line, enabling users to pay now and settle their dues later.

How can BharatPe Flex benefit customers?

With BharatPe Flex, customers may access the facility of a credit line incorporated within the UPI experience while continuing to make payments across the current UPI ecosystems. These payments include in-store QR-code payments, internet transactions, bill payments, recharges, travel, shopping, petrol and other everyday expenses.

What does BharatPe Flex offer?

BharatPe Flex offers users the option to repay in full within the billing cycle or convert the repayment into flexible EMIs, depending on their repayment preference. Users can make UPI payments and settle dues within up to 45 days of interest-free period.
