中新社北京6月2日电 中国移动2日公布,由其联合产业合作伙伴自主设计的全球首条S+C+L三波段(短波段+常规通信波段+长波段)超低损多芯光缆线路近日在山东青岛正式建成开通。

这条新型光缆线路突破传统光纤的传输容量极限,标志着中国空分复用光纤与多波段融合技术迈入商用化新阶段。

传统光纤受限于纤芯数目与可用带宽,带宽与容量存在明显瓶颈。

中国移动此次创新采用四芯光纤结构,在细如发丝的光纤内集成4路独立信号通道,并将超低损耗、大有效面积特性从C、L波段拓展至S波段,实现“三波段并行传输”。

这相当于把信息高速从“双车道”拓宽为“三车道”,单芯带宽提升近50%,单条光纤容量达到传统光纤的5倍以上,可充分满足AI智算、T比特级超高速传输的未来需求。

多芯光缆落地的最大难点在于多纤芯精准对准与熔接。

面对环境振动、地形复杂、熔接精度要求极高等挑战,中国移动联合合作伙伴研发多芯熔接算法,实现分钟级高精度对准熔接,成功在现网条件下完成高质量部署。

实测数据显示,该光缆性能全面优于现网商用水平。

基于该线路,中国移动已完成S+C+L全频谱实时传输测试,实现无误码、低抖动稳定传输,标志技术完成从实验室到现网试点的关键跨越。

中国移动表示,此次全球首条三波段多芯光缆线路开通,是中国光通信技术从跟跑到引领的重要标志,也为智算中心互联、大容量海缆、全国一体化算力网络提供了成熟可行的新型方案。

未来,中国移动将加快新一代光纤技术规模化部署,构建更高速度、更低时延、更大容量的智能光传输网络。(完)
