Commercial LPG cylinder to now cost Rs 183.50 from July 1

NEW DELHI: Commercial LPG prices have dropped by Rs 183.50, effective July 1. This marks an ease for commercial users, including hotels, vendors etc. The price of the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been slashed by Rs 183.50 from Wednesday, bringing its price in Delhi down to Rs 2,930. Prices of 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) have also been reduced by Rs 13. 5 kg FTL will cost Rs 808.50 in Delhi, as per ANI sources. There would be no change in rates for household cylinders.

Prices in major cities

Delhi A 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 942, while a 19-kg commercial cylinder now costs Rs 2,930. Mumbai A 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder costs Rs 941.50, while the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder stands at Rs 2,885.50. Kolkata A 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 968, while a 19-kg commercial cylinder costs Rs 3,072. Chennai A 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder costs Rs 957.50, while the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder is Rs 3,100. The latest reduction comes after Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the country's largest state-owned refiner and fuel retailer, raised the price of commercial LPG cylinders in June to Rs 3,113.50 from Rs 3,071.50, citing supply constraints triggered by the Middle East crisis. Meanwhile, the reduction comes as international crude oil prices have eased from recent highs after tensions in the Middle East subsided and concerns over supply disruptions weakened.
