남구는 지역 최초로 한미동맹의 의미를 담은 거리를 조성해 침체한 상권 활성화를 도모하고 양국 우호 관계를 강화할 계획이다.
한미단길은 캠프 워커에서 효성로로 이어지는 약 500m 구간의 삼정길 일대에 조성된다.
이 구간에는 미군과 지역 주민들로 인해 음식점과 카페 등이 들어섰지만 상권 침체기를 겪고 있다.
