During questioning, the accused allegedly told investigators that he had planned to travel to his hometown in Rajgarh after the incident and intended to hand over the money and valuables to his family.
Police indicated that the motive being examined included both theft and sexual assault. On Wednesday, the 22-year-old woman was subjected to a violent physical assault in which she was struck on the head with a heavy study lamp at least three times, rendering her unconscious. She was allegedly raped by the man in that state and was then strangled with a charger cable.
The autopsy report confirmed multiple injuries on her head and body, abrasions and nasal bone fracture. The cause of death was asphyxia. The family had removed the youth from the job.
