경제 6단체는 "레미콘은 건설 산업의 핵심 자재로 공급이 차질을 빚을 경우 주요 기간 시설의 공정 중단이 불가피하다"며 "특히 수도권은 반도체 공장, 주택, 인프라 등 국가 경제와 민생에 직결된 공사 현장이 집중돼 있어 사태 장기화 시 국민경제 전체로 피해가 확산할 우려가 크다"고 강조했다.
그러면서 "고물가와 건설경기 침체로 관련 산업이 위기를 겪는 상황에서 운송 거부에 나서기보다는 위기 극복과 상생을 위한 지혜를 모아야 할 시점"이라며 "대화와 타협을 통해 합리적인 해결책이 모색돼야 할 것"이라고 말했다.
경제 6단체는 "정부는 협상이 조속히 재개될 수 있도록 적극 지원에 나서는 한편, 레미콘 공급 안정화와 현장 피해 최소화를 위한 대책에 힘써달라"면서 "경제계도 건설 현장의 안정과 첨단산업 적기 투자가 차질 없이 진행될 수 있도록 적극 협력할 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
앞서 레미콘 운송노조는 사측과 운송단가를 회당 4천200원 인상하는 잠정합의안을 도출했으나 조합원 68.3%가 반대해 최종 부결됐다.
