Singh was killed following an incident in Southall, west London, during the early hours of June 10. According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called shortly after 12:40am to reports of a stabbing on North Road near the junction with Dormers Wells Lane.
Singh suffered a knife injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man, aged in his 30s, was also injured and later discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.
Detectives have launched a murder investigation into Singh's death. Seven men were arrested on suspicion of murder, but six have since been released without further action. One suspect has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell said investigators believe Singh was assaulted outside a shop at the junction of North Road and Dormers Wells Lane at around 12:30am. Police have appealed for witnesses, CCTV footage, and anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing.
