ホルムズ海峡を通過した出光興産の大型原油タンカー「出光丸」が25日、愛知県知多市沖の伊勢湾シーバースに到着した。長くペルシャ湾に留め置かれながら、日本にたどり着いたタンカーの姿に、歓迎する声があがった。
25日午前10時ごろ、上空からはシーバースに近づく出光丸が確認できた。タグボート4隻がゆっくりと船体を押し込み、幅広く平らな甲板は周囲の船と比べても面積の大きさが際立つ。スクリューが生む白い航跡が海面をきらめかせる中、船体は徐々に桟橋へと寄せられた。
接岸作業では綱が桟橋に渡され、約30分以上かけて船体が固定された。固定後、甲板上には作業員が集まり、パイプのふたを開けるなど受け入れ準備が進められ、書類を広げて打ち合わせする様子も確認された。
