ウーバーやアマゾンなどデジタル技術を活用したプラットフォーム（PF）を通じて働く人たちを守る国際条約が12日、スイス・ジュネーブで開かれていた国際労働機関（ILO）の総会で採択された。PFを介して働く人たちを保護するための方策を定めた初めての国際基準だ。
採択されたのは「プラットフォーム経済におけるディーセントワーク（働きがいのある人間らしい仕事）に関する条約」。条約には、人工知能（AI）などを使って働く条件が自動的に決まるPFについて、透明性を高めるための規定が盛り込まれた。そのほか労働法制を正しく適用するための措置や、安全衛生、報酬のあり方の基準が入った。
11日までの協議で政府、労働側、経営側が条約案に合意。12日の本会議で政労使の代表による投票が行われ、採択に必要な3分の2以上が賛成した。日本は政労使ともに賛成票を投じた。
