Xで拡散したポストは、資料などがInstagramのストーリー機能で公開されたとするもの。掲載されていた画像は（1）システム構成図の写真に「システム古すぎ」とのコメントを記載したもの、（2）個人情報などの取り扱いについてまとめたとみられる資料、（3）ジェーシビーのものとみられる社員証に「JCBスマホ持ち込めなくてダルい笑」とのコメントを記載したもの──の3つだ。

このうち（1）は、NTTドコモがメディアなどに公開している社内基幹システムの構成図に類似していた。ジェーシービーは3月、NTTドコモビジネスと法人カードの分野での提携を発表している。

なお、Xの投稿は5月29日だったが、ストーリーの投稿自体がいつのものか判別できる情報はなかった。漏えいなどの可能性についてジェーシービーは「現時点で確定的な見解を伝えられる状況にない」としている。
