KKR Dominating Gujarat Titans in First Innings, Finn Allen and Angkrish Raghuvanshi Shine

Tossed up on leg, Allen dances down the pitch and just clubs it across and over deep mid-wicket for a maximum. Not off the middle of the bat, but good enough. That dropped catch is proving really costly for GT right now.

STRATEGIC BREAK! If the Powerplay was even-stevens, the next two overs have completely swung the momentum KKR's way as they have managed to score 29 runs off those. Gujarat Titans have been uncharacteristically sloppy in the field tonight, dropping a batter like Finn Allen twice. Only time will tell how much that will cost GT. Allen has already started to cut loose while Raghuvanshi is steadying up nicely, and this partnership has hopped to 41 runs. Fractionally short, on off and middle. Allen presses back and powers it down the ground. Jason Holder sprints to his left from long on and slides to push the ball away from the fence. The ball threatens to trickle into the fence and Nishant Sindhu converging from long off tries to prevent the boundary but fails to do so.

Jason Holder to Finn Allen, DROPPED! A sitter goes down. Mohammed Siraj is the guilty party. Holder bends his back and generates a bit of lift off the deck because of his height. This is around off, Allen stands tall to flat bat it down the ground. Spoons it towards long on, where Siraj takes a couple of steps in off the ropes and bends to take the catch over his right shoulder in reverse cup style. The ball bursts through his hands and drops behind him. Single taken. How costly will this drop prove to be for the Titans?

He hangs low and manages to get under the ball. Plays the scoop and ducks a bit to get his head out of the way. It sails over the keeper for a six.

Kagiso Rabada to Finn Allen, Wide! Rabada spots Allen moving across the stumps for the scoop and pushes it away from the batter. Finn tries to get his hands in line with the ball and angle it past short third but misses. Kagiso Rabada is not happy with the wide call and Gill challenges the wide call. The replays show that the ball was beyond the return crease on the off side and there was no bat involved. The call of wide stays.

Review time! That did seem to have kept a bit low. A loud shout for LBW is turned down, and after a long discussion, Shubman Gill does take the DRS. The third umpire checks UltraEdge first and there's no bat involved. Ball Tracking shows the wickets as umpire's call and the on-field call stands. NOT OUT!

Kagiso Rabada to Angkrish Raghuvanshi, A decision that could have gone either way. Rabada attacks the front pad and gets the ball to jag back in off the surface. Raghuvanshi leans across the line of the ball to clip it away on the leg side. He plays all around it to get hit on the flap of the front pad. A loud shout, but it has been turned down. The ball rolls away in front of point and the batters sneak in a leg bye. Shubman Gill has a chat with the bowler and the keeper before going for the review. The angle seems to take the ball past the leg stump. UltraEdge shows no bat but the Ball Tracking has the ball clipping the leg stump. It is umpire's call. The on-field decision has been upheld but GT retain their review.

Rahane goes across the line once again, but his feet go nowhere. The ball comes back in to go past the inside edge and crashes into the stumps. End of a 44-run opening stand.
