林楚茵提問，鄭麗文赴美交流還是赴美交差？國民黨中常委這麼多位，偏偏帶上曾公開喊出「兩岸早日統一」、宣示要「落實習近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想」的勤彭蓁，鄭麗文4月才赴北京見習近平，如今轉身赴美，勤彭蓁難道是北京指定的？是陪同訪問還是幫習近平就近看管？
林沛祥受訪表示，祝福鄭麗文訪美期間一切順利，成功建立起國民黨與美國的橋樑，讓台灣不是一言堂的訊息傳出去，使台灣真實的民意與面目，讓美國政府、美國全國知道，畢竟美國在台協會（AIT）真的曾相信他與國民黨立委王鴻薇去年會被罷免掉。
林沛祥說，這個錯誤的訊息導致我們現在看到，美國對台灣的政府是極度不友善，這是否因為有人說謊，讓美國全國認為台灣媒體甚至所有官方的管道訊息，都是不可信的。
