Lebanon and Israel have agreed to a US-brokered ceasefire, contingent on Hezbollah ceasing fire and evacuating areas south of the Litani River. New security zones will be established in Lebanon, controlled by the Lebanese army, banning Hezbollah militants. Further talks are scheduled for June 22 in Washington.
