Man details indecent assault allegations against broadcaster Alan Jones in Sydney court

A man accusing Alan Jones of indecently assaulting him has detailed in court a night at the broadcaster's farm, where he said Mr Jones demanded he have a shower and come out wearing "a robe and nothing else".

Mr Jones, 85, is facing an indecent assault and sexual touching trial in the Sydney Local Court, which is hearing evidence from the first of six male complainants.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and his defence lawyer told the court on Monday the case was actually about media rivalry and treachery from colleagues.

Complainant J began giving evidence on Monday that Mr Jones took an interest in his early sporting career, and gave him a phone, a car and weekly payments during a time where it is alleged the broadcaster kissed or touched him several times.

In court on Tuesday, Complainant J detailed a stay at Mr Jones's Fitzroy Falls farm in 2004, where he said he and the veteran broadcaster spoke over dinner and a glass of wine.

He said Mr Jones told him: "You've got to remember, there's only one rule here … there are no rules."

Mr Jones told the then-17-year-old to go and have a shower, the court heard.

"The defendant told me to go and have a shower and come back in a robe and nothing else," he said.

"It was very, very direct."

"It was, '[J], come back in a robe and nothing else.'"

The man alleges he wore underwear under his robe, and said his "heart was racing" as he sat on the couch next to Mr Jones, who he alleges rubbed his genitals on the outside of his robe.

"I almost knew what was going happen, based on what happened in the car," the complainant said.

"He wanted me to come out in the nude so he could just undo [the robe], just easy access, he's going to touch me."

'I was completely frozen'

The court then heard more graphic allegations about further indecent assaults, where Mr Jones allegedly pulled the complainant towards him, kissed him, and their naked genitals touched.

There was a further alleged incident on the bed, where Mr Jones and the complainant allegedly masturbated at the same time.

Asked why he did that, the man said: "I thought it was the quickest way to get it over and done with."

"It was another trapped moment."

"I was completely frozen."

In describing for the court what Mr Jones was allegedly doing with his hand, Complainant J said he was touching his own penis.

Complainant J said he went back to the farm another time, but only because his family was there.

On another occasion, the complainant agreed to stay at Mr Jones's Circular Quay apartment but said he planned to "stand up" to him and tell him to stop the behaviour.

The court heard Mr Jones gave the complainant another "chomping motion" kiss to the mouth without consent before bed.

He told the court he froze in the moment and was still disappointed with himself he did not stand up to Mr Jones.

"Thought that was the time I was going to put a complete end to it all," he said.

"I was prepared to stand up to him and I didn't."

The trial is expected to last several weeks.
