Earlier, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov mentioned that the issue of Armenia was discussed at the EAEU summit, where the leaders of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan issued a joint statement on this matter, calling for a referendum in Armenia on joining the European Union or remaining in the Eurasian Economic Union.
