日本レコード協会など音楽5団体でつくる一般社団法人カルチャーアンドエンタテインメント産業振興会（CEIPA）が主催。米音楽界で最高の名誉とされるグラミー賞のアジア版を目指して創設された。昨年に京都市で開かれたのに続く2度目の開催。主に2025年にヒットした楽曲を対象に、国内外の音楽関係者約5000人の投票で主要6部門など受賞作が選ばれた。
