The Orlan-10 is a widely used Russian unmanned aerial vehicle. The Defense Services Asia (DSA) exhibition is a major regional event for the defense industry.
The latest optical reconnaissance system for the Orlan series of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been showcased at the Defense Services Asia (DSA) international exhibition of arms and military equipment in Malaysia, a spokesperson for the manufacturer, Special Technology Center (STC), told TASS.
"At the exhibition in Malaysia, a sample of the Orlan-10 UAV is being displayed alongside our latest solution - an optical reconnaissance system. This system can perform all tasks for both civilian and military purposes. It is a true combat camera, similar to those currently used on devices that perform missions in the special military operation zone," the Special Technology Center spokesperson noted.
The STC products are being presented in Malaysia as part of the joint Russian exhibit of the arms exporter Rosoboronexport (part of the state tech corporation Rostec). The DSA exhibition is being held from April 20-23 in Kuala Lumpur.
