경찰은 이번 압수수색에 광역수사대 소속 경찰과 국가수사본부, 서울청 디지털포렌식 요원 등 100여명을 투입했다.
투표용지 부족 사태의 진상규명을 위해 꾸려진 검경 합동수사본부 검사 3명과 수사관 등 10여명도 압수수색에 투입됐다.
경찰은 "오늘 압수수색을 통해 국민의 참정권 침해를 야기한 원인 규명 등 사건의 실체적 진실을 발견하기 위한 증거를 확보하는 데 집중하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
