MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. Republika Srpska expects Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the consecration ceremony of a Russian-Serb cathedral in Banja Luka, as stated by Milorad Dodik, chairman of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, in an interview with TASS. The cathedral, nearly complete with only interior painting remaining, is based on a Kremlin temple design provided by the Russian Orthodox Church. It will serve both as a place of worship and a venue for Russian-Serb events. Alexey Kapustin, who developed the project, noted the cathedral is dedicated to the Holy Royal Martyrs, the family of Russia’s last Emperor Nicholas II, and will be the city's tallest religious building.
