MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. Kiev is actively moving toward an escalation of the terrorist war by targeting peaceful population and civilian infrastructure, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the Kiev regime's crimes Rodion Miroshnik said on his Telegram channel.
The diplomat noted that in the past 24 hours, four civilians were wounded and one was killed in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
"Ukrainian forces carried out a series of drone attacks on civilian sites in the DPR. They deliberately targeted peaceful residents," he said.
"Based on our observations, it is clear that Kiev is actively escalating the terrorist war, carrying out deliberate attacks on the civilian population and infrastructure, which can only be interpreted as war crimes," Miroshnik added.
He also stressed that retaliatory measures "against the murderers and terrorists will not take long to come."
