Subaru 近日宣布在日本為森林人休旅 Forester 進行年式更新，最大亮點在於新增 Touring、Touring EX 兩款汽油動力車型，當地售價分別為 385 萬、399.3 萬日圓，約台幣 76 萬、79 萬元，將擔任車系入門之選，透過降低入手門檻來提升市場競爭力。

日規新年式 Forester 升級重點在於提高車內電子後視鏡的影像品質、強化無線充電座的供電功率，以及將 AC100V / 1500W 插座列為 Hybrid 油電車型的標準配備，進一步提升實用度和使用機能。
日規新年式 Forester 追加 Touring 車型擔任入門之選。
而隨著新年式一同登場的 Forester Touring、Touring EX 外觀特色在於採用防刮材質前保險桿及車側護板，並搭配黑色飾框作為識別，腳下則配有 18 吋機械加工雙色鋁圈，成為整體造型的一大亮點。至於車內則採用運動化織布座椅，並提供黑色、灰色兩種風格選擇，科技焦點同樣為中央醒目的 11.6 吋直立式觸控螢幕，車載系統也支援無線 Apple CarPlay / Android Auto，而最新 EyeSight X 駕駛輔助系統也列為全車系標準配備。
採用防刮前保桿、車側護板及 18 吋雙色鋁圈作為外型特徵。
內裝提供黑色、黑色兩種風格選擇。
在動力部分，新年式 Forester Touring、Touring EX 皆搭載 1.8 升水平對臥渦輪增壓汽油引擎，搭配 CVT 無段式變速箱，可提供 177 匹、30.6 公斤米的動力輸出。
