台南市積極打造友善電動車使用環境，交通局與環保局攜手向中央爭取2.5億元經費，在全市37個行政區建置公共充電設施，交通局長王銘德指出，第8批充電站將於6月5日正式上線，分布在12個行政區共19處場域，新增8席快充格位及32席慢充格位。
目前規劃的202處站點已全數完工，將待台電完成供電作業後陸續啟用，持續完善電動車充電服務網絡，從使用情況來看，充電榜首不在市區，官田衛生所累計使用329次居冠。
交通局表示，目前全市已啟用103處充電站，提供42席快充格位及148席慢充格位。自2025年5月陸續上線營運以來，累積使用次數已接近6000次，總充電量突破12萬度電，顯示電動車充電需求持續成長。
6月5日啟用的快充站設於下營區中山路2段「停1」停車場、安定區港口段停車場、西港市場南側停車場及鹽水區月津路與治水路停車場等地，各提供2席快充服務。
其餘慢充站則分布於仁德、安平、安南、新市、新化、山上、柳營及歸仁等區，方便民眾於日常停車時同步補充電力。其中，山上區公所設置為「充電優先格位」，其餘18處則為「電動汽車充電專用格位」。
交通局提醒，民眾停車時務必留意現場標誌與告示牌，若非充電中的電動車占用「充電專用停車位」，經通報舉發後，可依《停車場法》裁處1200元罰鍰，以維護充電車主權益。
