Recently, a Tesla employee took to Instagram to share how much he worked in a week at the company. His schedule not only had netizens shocked but also worried about his physical and mental well-being. The post was shared by Mohammad Salman on Instagram titled 'How much I work in a week at Tesla'. He explained his schedule with his work hours across the seven days: Monday, 11 hours. Tuesday, 9 hours. Wednesday, 10 hours. Thursday, 11 hours. Friday, 7 hours. Saturday, 2 hours. Sunday, 4 hours. In total, he worked for 54 hours a week, reflecting a pattern that stretched beyond the five-day office routine. While weekdays appeared bizarrely long, even on weekends he was involved in work, thus leaving minimal downtime for himself.

While the man provided no additional context to his role, team or location, his schedule still managed to ignite a debate online. The responses ranged from concern to criticism. "No work-life balance. Who works on weekends?" asked a user. "Work hard to make others rich," added another. “Work harder please or your H-1B will be revoked, buddy,” quipped one. Others wondered his salary package and which team he worked for, writing "What team u work for?" and "salary?"
