"The Secret Service was very impressive last night, sprinting across the extremely crowded room to secure the scene. Everyone was calm and followed their orders to get down and get out of the way. It could have been so much worse. Every day I am grateful for law enforcement!" Dhillon wrote thanking the Secret Service.
Shooter Cole Tomas Allen told police that he was going after "administration officials" at the event inside Washington Hilton hotel where he was staying.
