"According to certain data, the US targeted around 24,000 sites in Iran. A total of 125,600 non-military sites were damaged or destroyed, including shops, residential houses and apartments. Among children, 220 died, including 17 under the age of five, and 259 women were killed," he said.
The United States and Israel launched the war against Iran on February 28. On April 7, US President Donald Trump announced a two-week mutual ceasefire. According to Iran, 3,375 Iranians have been killed in US-Israeli strikes during the 40 days of the hostilities. The targets included 857 schools and more than 300 healthcare facilities, 32 universities and 20 Red Cross and Red Crescent institutions.
