Japan's 'Starlink' Initiative: J-LEO Aims for Smartphone-Satellite Direct Communication

Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is launching the J-LEO project to build a low-orbit satellite communication infrastructure, enabling direct satellite links to smartphones.
