Farage Defends Banks Over Plaid Cymru Comments As Political Row Escalates

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has defended Arron Banks after the businessman made comments about Plaid Cymru that were criticized as being in poor taste. Farage stated Banks would not apologize, saying "he's Arron Banks" and noting Banks is not a candidate in the Senedd election, is not Welsh, and has not given money to Reform UK. Farage also commented on the prospect of Reform working with Conservatives in Wales, saying it would be "highly undesirable" though he doesn't expect the issue to arise as he predicts few Conservatives will be elected in the May 7 Welsh election.
