Police in Nagpur, India have arrested Riyaz Fazil Qazi, president of an NGO working for underprivileged children, after a 23-year-old woman accused him of sexual assault, religious coercion, defamation, and cyberstalking. The FIR includes multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act. The state ATS has launched a parallel investigation into the NGO's background and financial trails, with three women now coming forward with complaints.
