The Indian Navy has taken delivery of INS Mahendragiri, the sixth Project 17A Nilgiri-class stealth frigate built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. The vessel features advanced stealth technology, MF-STAR radar, BrahMos missiles, and 75% indigenous content. Delivery was achieved in under 17 months from the first warship, showcasing India's growing self-reliance in warship construction.
