Kolkata Police has registered an FIR against Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh and Bangla Pokkho General Secretary Garga Chatterjee for allegedly creating and circulating a fake BJP document on social media to mislead voters. The complaint was filed by social service professional Sashi Agnihotri, accusing them of spreading defamatory content to damage the BJP's reputation ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections. The case has been registered under IT Act sections 66, 66C, 66D and provisions of BNS, 2023.
