LG Display Q1 Operating Profit Surges 338% on Strong OLED Sales

LG Display reported a 338.4% year-over-year increase in Q1 2026 operating profit to 146.7 billion won, driven by strong sales of premium OLED panels which now account for 60% of total sales. Despite the profit jump, total sales fell 8.8% to 5.53 trillion won and net losses widened to 575.7 billion won from 262.7 billion won a year earlier.
