Russian Court Fines Roblox $106,000 for LGBT Propaganda
Moscow's Tagansky Court has fined American video game developer Roblox Corporation eight million rubles ($106,097) for promoting the LGBT movement online under Russia's extremist laws. The company was found guilty under Part 4 of Article 6.21 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses for permitting distribution of content portraying non-traditional sexual relations in a positive light. In December 2025, Russia's communications watchdog Roskomnadzor restricted access to Roblox due to materials containing propaganda of extremist and terrorist activity.
