Experimental Lung Cancer Drug Shows 34% Reduction in Death Risk in China Trial

Akeso and Summit Therapeutics' experimental lung cancer drug, ivonescimab, reduced the risk of death by 34% in a late-stage trial when combined with chemotherapy. The drug extended survival by a median of four months for patients with squamous non-small-cell lung cancer in China, a statistically significant result.
