Mykhailo Mudryk appeals four-year drugs ban to Court of Arbitration for Sport
Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has appealed his four-year drugs ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The 25-year-old Ukrainian international was banned by the Football Association after an adverse finding in a routine urine test revealed traces of meldonium, a cardiovascular medication. The appeal was filed on 25 February 2026, with sources close to the player hopeful he could return as early as next season. Mudryk came into contact with meldonium while on duty with Ukraine in October 2024 and has not played since November 2024.
