Russian police detained 27 individuals across several regions, dismantling a large interregional drug syndicate. The operation seized over 150 kg of synthetic drugs and 300 kg of precursors, valued at over 1 billion rubles, and involved a full cycle of production and online trafficking.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided multiple locations in Maharashtra and Gujarat as part of a money laundering probe linked to drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Dola. Dola, who was extradited from Türkiye in April, is accused of running a transnational drug syndicate and is a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim.
Salim Dola, a high-ranking member of the international drug mafia and close associate of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, was deported to India from Istanbul, Turkey. Dola, apprehended in a coordinated international intelligence operation, arrived at Delhi airport under heavy security. He is accused of orchestrating a transnational synthetic drug empire worth over Rs 5,000 crore through the D-Company. Currently in custody and undergoing interrogation, he will be handed over to Mumbai Police or the Narcotics Control Bureau for further legal proceedings.
