
Fourteen Treated After Chemical Smell Prompts Evacuation at London's Farringdon Station
Fourteen passengers received medical treatment and two were taken to hospital after a chemical smell was reported on an Elizabeth line platform at Farringdon station. The station was evacuated and closed for approximately 90 minutes. London Fire Brigade found no elevated readings for any chemical substances. British Transport Police initially reported a suspected gas leak and said a small number of people may have come into contact with an unknown substance.
