USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins stated the US food supply is not at risk from the return of the flesh-eating screwworm parasite to Texas. Despite new cases in livestock and a dog, Rollins assured that the pest can be treated and the US has a plan to eradicate it, similar to efforts 50 years ago.
