Russia's steel production declined by 3.4% year-on-year to 5.6 million metric tons in June 2026, according to the World Steel Association. Globally, steel output increased by 1.7% to 155.7 million metric tons, with China, India, Japan, and the US showing growth, while the Middle East and South America experienced declines.
