Family of Slain Indore Businessman Demands CBI Probe After Wife Granted Bail in Murder Case
The family of Raja Raghuvanshi, a transport businessman from Indore who was murdered during his honeymoon in Meghalaya last year, has demanded a CBI probe after a Meghalaya court granted bail to his wife Sonam, the prime accused. The family plans to challenge the bail order in the Meghalaya High Court. Raja went missing on May 23 last year, and his mutilated body was found on June 2 near a waterfall in Sohra. Sonam was arrested in June 2025 and has been in judicial custody for over 10 months.
